The cases stemmed from the columnist’s encounter with the couple at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 May 2011.

IF we only have a superpower we would let legendary Daragang Magayon which means (beautiful lady in Bicol term) rise  from her grave and thank the good Governor of Albay, Joey Sarte Salceda for producing this magical love story scheduled for Feb. 8, 2013  onstage the Cultural Center of the Philippines with matinee at 3p.m. and gala night at 7p.m., music by Dr. Ramon Santos, poetry by Virgilio Almario, dramatology by Abdon M. Balde Jr. and choreography and stage direction by Gerald Mercado.

At the press conference of the said legendary epic story of Daragang Magayon at Barbara’s resto in Intramuros, guests were enthralled by the erotic dance interpreted by modern ballet dancers Ea Torrado as Magayon and Roduardo  Maguad as Ulap that gave meaning to the hot sili from Bicol. When asked who his choice is to play the lead role when Daragang Magayon is translated into film, Gov. Joey said: “Sarah Geronimo.”

Is a choice in case a film bio of Daragang Magayon is put into film.

This brainchild of the Albay Governor is aimed to enhance the tourism industry  not only in Albay  but the entire Philippines especially now that the Aquino government chants “It’s More Fun In the Philippines.” For information, call 4250509 09209266387; 9321125 local 1116.
